Wikipedia is a user friendly, informative general site which provides the opportunity for anyone to enter the site as an author and add or edit information as it changes or becomes available. The danger with this 'open format' is that not all information presented may be as reliable or accurate as one would wish it to be. The site attempts to verify and screen information posted, but this does take time and can lead to problematic situations.
Be aware that current information, especially political biographies and world events, may have bias and misinformation - accidentally or intentionally! It would be in your best interest to use Wikipedia in conjuction with other sites to verify the information you seek.
